LytQuest

Terms and Conditions

These terms form the agreement between you and LytQuest when you use our website, cohort programmes, mentorship sessions, masterclasses and the Blueprint Challenge.

Last updated 16 August 2026

1. Who you are contracting with

The service is provided by LytQuest ("LytQuest", "we", "us"). By creating an account, registering for a masterclass, entering the Blueprint Challenge, booking mentorship or taking a cohort seat, you enter into an agreement with LytQuest on these terms.

If you are accepting these terms for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you are accepting as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to form a binding contract in your country.

2. Acceptance

By continuing to use the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service. We may update these terms as the ecosystem grows, and continued use after an update means you accept the revised wording.

3. What we provide

LytQuest is an engineering career ecosystem. Depending on what you sign up for, that can include cohort programmes taught by mentors, one to one and group mentorship sessions, free office hours, live sessions, masterclasses, written and downloadable learning material, and challenge cycles with peer and reviewer feedback.

Programme content, schedules and mentors can change. Where a change materially affects a paid programme you have joined, we will tell you before it takes effect.

4. Your account

You must give accurate registration details and keep them up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:

  • use the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive, including spam
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property, including submitting work that is not yours to submit
  • interfere with the security or integrity of the platform, including malware, probing, scraping or attempts to bypass access controls
  • harass, abuse or discriminate against mentors, reviewers, staff or other LytQuesters
  • share, resell or redistribute cohort roadmaps, curricula, recordings or other paid material with people who have not paid for it
  • share your account, seat or session access with anyone else

6. Intellectual property

LytQuest and its mentors retain ownership of the platform, its software, branding, curricula, roadmaps, written material and recordings. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the material for your own learning within the plan or programme you have paid for. You may not reverse engineer the platform, resell access, or work around technical limits.

You keep ownership of the work you submit, including challenge entries and repositories. You grant LytQuest a limited licence to host, display and review that work so we can run the challenge, peer review and archive features. If you believe material on the platform infringes your rights, contact us at hello@lytquest.com and we will investigate and remove infringing material where appropriate. Repeat infringement can lead to removal from the platform.

7. Service levels

We work hard to keep LytQuest available, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error free. Live sessions depend on third party infrastructure and your own connection and device. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Payments, billing and subscriptions

Prices for cohort seats, mentorship sessions and other paid items are shown before you pay. Where instalments are offered, each instalment falls due on the schedule shown at checkout, and access to paid material depends on your payments staying current.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller, Paddle. Please read the Paddle Buyer Terms alongside these terms. Our own Refund Policy explains how refunds work.

9. Our reseller and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access where there is a material breach of these terms, non-payment of an amount due, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Where it is reasonable to do so we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

You can stop using LytQuest at any time. When access ends, you lose access to paid material and community features. Ask us within 30 days of your account closing and we will provide a copy of the work you submitted, where we still hold it.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or connected to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, opportunity or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify LytQuest against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.

12. General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law in your country of residence says otherwise. You may not assign your rights without our consent. We may assign ours as part of a merger, acquisition or reorganisation. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@lytquest.com. For anything to do with a payment, an invoice or a refund, contact Paddle at paddle.net or reach us and we will help you get there.
